YOGA & AYURVEDA with GRACE

Yoga and Ayurveda go hand in hand and are called “sister sciences”.  They are so intimately related they have the same philosophical and anatomical foundation and come from the VEDAS-the ancient wisdom of India.

Yoga is an ancient spiritual practice that focuses on soothing the mind. It is a science and art with techniques like Pranayama & Mediation, for calming and settling the mind. And with dedicated practice over time, it is possible to become happy and live a healthy and productive life with others.

Prana

Yoga uses the breath/prana and meditation to quiet the mind and calm the body. But it takes an experienced and knowledgable teacher to guide you into uniting body, mind and breath. No other science knows more about the breath/prana than Yoga and Ayurveda.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the science of maintaining a healthy body and keeping that body in balance with nature, connecting it to the seasons and food that is right for each unique body on its’ own individual journey. Fill your body with prana by learning about the food that is right for your dosha/unique body type.

Living a long happy life is the goal of everyone. Having meaningful relationships with others; finding time for self-care; finding purpose and enjoyment in work are the aims of a happy life. Being centered and calm amidst all of life’s challenges is what we all seek. And all of this is possible, in every venture, by using the natural techniques preserved by the ancients for us, through YOGA and AYURVEDA from the Vedas.

Yoga and the Body

How great would it feel to control or be rid of seasonal allergies, the aches and pains of the joints; to have restful, restorative sleep? Feeling energy upon awakening each morning and sustaining that throughout the day are gifts of Ayurveda and Yoga. Imagine having a clear and collected mind instead of a mind scattered and anxious? These emotions are being lodged daily in the body.

Living a long happy life is the goal of everyone. Having meaningful relationships with others; finding time for self-care; finding purpose and enjoyment in work are the aims of life. Being centered and calm amidst all of life’s challenges is what we all seek. And all of this is possible, in every century, by using the natural techniques preserved by the ancients for us, through Yoga and Ayurveda from the Vedas.

Workshops

Making Ghee Workshop

In learning about food, you will become competent in making your own ghee. This is a vital part of regaining useful habits. Ghee will amplify improved food habits that focus on your digestion. As is said in Ayurveda “you are what you digest”. A healthy digestion leads to a healthy body and a stable mind.

Yoga Nidra Workshops

Yoga Nidra is a profound experience that goes into the Subtle Bodies and Mind to help soothe traumas like PTSD. It is self-care at its’ best. Deep inside each of us, we hold onto uncomfortable ideas and habits that are buried in our depths. Yoga Nidra will release them through its powerful and gentle techniques. I have been providing these workshops for more than 9 years with remarkable results.
